We have a unique set of therapeutic approaches to offer our clients the best.

Our services include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, which is designed to alleviate the distress associated with traumatic memories.

We also specialize in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) that aids in regulating emotions, improving relationships, and managing difficult situations.

For our younger clients, we offer Play Therapy, a unique method that allows children to express themselves and address their issues through the medium of play.

Additionally, our CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) sessions are designed to help individuals challenge and change unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors.

With our team of experienced therapists, we are committed to supporting you on your journey to well-being

What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a form of psychotherapy that’s designed to help people who have experienced distressing or traumatic events. It’s based on the idea that the mind can heal from psychological trauma just as the body recovers from physical trauma.

When you go through a traumatic event, the memory can get stuck in your brain with all the original picture, sounds, thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. EMDR seems to help the brain process these memories and allows normal healing to resume. The therapy involves recalling distressing events while receiving one of several types of bilateral sensory input, such as side-to-side eye movements or hand tapping.

What is DBT?

DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy. Its primary focus is on teaching people skills to cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships with others.

DBT is called “dialectical” because it brings together two opposites: acceptance (acknowledging how things are right now) and change (making positive changes in your life). In DBT, you learn that it’s okay to be as you are while also recognizing that some changes can help you live a better life.

The overall goal of DBT is to create a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and worth living.

What is CBT?

CBT is one of the most researched types of therapy, and it’s been shown to be effective for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress.

CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is like a tool kit that helps you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It’s based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected, and that by changing negative thoughts and behaviors, you can change how you feel.

It’s a structured therapy, usually with a set number of sessions. You work with a therapist to identify specific problems and set goals. It’s very focused on the present—less on digging up the past and more on finding solutions to current issues.

What is Play Therapy?

Play therapy is a therapeutic approach primarily used with children to help them express what is troubling them when they do not have the verbal language to express their thoughts and feelings. In play therapy, toys are like words and play is the child’s language.

Just as adults use words to communicate, children use play to express their experiences and feelings. Through play, therapists can help children learn more about their emotions and behaviors. This therapy is especially helpful for children who have experienced trauma, have developmental issues, or are dealing with behavioral problems.
